This seems to be a quirky little gallery in the heart of Civic, just opposite the Legislative Assembly in Civic Square.
It is both a small art gallery and a museum of early Canberra.
When I was last there, the art space was a combination of modern and avant-garde art. ie clever and quirky - you make the decision!
There's both a cafe and toilets there.
The CMAG has two entrances, one off Civic Square, and the other off London Circuit.
The two closest parking areas is the public carpark on London Circuit, or in the Canberra Centre.

Some clever neon art
I've never seen neon like this before. It's more dynamic than this static photo.

Clever photographic art
I put this art in the quirky category.
