This is just a suburban park area in Nicholls adjoining the Barton Highway. Technically, it's probably part of the Mt Percival reserve, but you can just walk downhill from Nicholls itself and follow the stream. Eventually you end up on a cycle/walking path that goes under the Barton Highway. It's particularly nice in the late afternoon as the sun starts setting.
There's a creek running down from Gungahlin Pond down towards Lake Ginninderra, a few km away.
You can follow the cycle path from here all the way to Ginninderra Drive in Belconnen.
There's no dedicated parking here, but you can pull off the road on the Barton Highway or park in one of the nearby suburbs.
Looking uphill slightly towards the Gungahlin Pond. Stream on the left, suburb on the right.
