This is a small but interesting nature reserve in the Gungahlin Area.
There are good trails to walk, and once you leave the entrance there is no sense of being in a suburban reserve, as the other side is just farmland. There is plenty to photograph here, especially in the late afternoon. The hill is easy to climb and suitable for all ages.
There is a hill in the middle, and the other side slopes down to fields containing transmitting towers for a few radio stations.
There are no toilets here.
It seems best to park off the road on Drooka Crescent or Cocoparra Crescent. There is dirt parking available on Drooka Cres near the private road that goes up to the water tank.
Entrance off Drooka Cres. More elaborate than most reserve entrances.
Easy paths to follow up and down the hill
One of the radio stations
Clear trails to follow if you want
Nice photographs in the late afternoon
