This is the Pink trail at the new Ginninderry walking trails. It is an easy walk, with gentle inclines unless you follow the branch that takes you down into the valley. Walking around with a camera taking photos will take you 1 to 1.5 hours. It's worth taking some water.
As of May-June 2024, the walking trails appear to be very popular with the public.
After entering the trail head and following the trail for about 1/2km, the Pink Trail branches off to the right. It loops around a hill and then brings you back to the main trail. It is well signposted at the start.
There are a few anti-cattle obstacles to get though, so prams and the like may have problems.
From the lookout at the farthest part of the Pink Trail you can descend down to the water and cross over some suspension bridges. This extension is likely to take you an hour, but it's worth it for the view and photographs.
There are no toilets here.
The trail network starts by the right hand side of The Link, on Pro Hart Avenue. You turn off onto McClymont Way and follow it to the end. Currently there is a reasonable-sized dirt car park off to the left.
The last time I was here the carpark was fenced off.

Angus cattle walking around. They didn't want to get off the trail for us, so we had to clamber around them.
Walking back on the Teal track you follow the river for a while.
