There's not a lot to photograph at Lyneham Ridge Reserve unless you like taking pictures of gum trees. The reserve seems to have been the result of some re-forestation in the past, so it is mainly gum trees and native grasses.
The reserve is crossed by several car-sized tracks, as well as several human-made trails. The lattter are more interesting because they weave between and around trees and bushes.
There isn't much underbrush here, so it is easy to go off-trail by yourself. As it is bordered by car-tracks, there seems to be no risk of getting lost.
The Reserve adjoins Gungahlin Drive, so there is a constant buzz of cars going past.
The reserve seems popular with people walking dogs on leash. There seemed to be a lot of kangaroos here, and rabbits also.
There are no toilets here.
There is a small dirt carpark off off Ellenborough St, Lyneham.
There are also a few entrances off the nearby roads but it's not clear if there is any off-street parking.

Hardly any underbrush between the trees make it easy to wander off the trails.
I wonder why someone left this half-done?
Looking east towards the suburbs. Showing another entrance.
