Nara Peace Park is an area within Lennox Gardens. It is a popular picnic spot on Lake Burley Griffin.

Canberra Nara Peace Park features a small Japanese-themed garden, large wooden gate and gazebo, and a number of iconic cherry blossom trees. It also has two large stone lanterns: a large Kasuga lantern weighing 5 tonnes and a large Yukimi lantern weighing 3 tonnesThis is a popular location for formal occasions such as weddings. You may have to book to reserve a location here, via the ACT Govt website.

There are toilets here (near the carpark), as well as BBQs and tables.
The park is pet-friendly, but pets must be on a leash.
The park is within the larger Lennox Gardens area.
This park is to the right of the main pathway towards the water.
You can park in the main carpark, or on Flynn Drive. Free parking on weekends, paid otherwise.
Car park. Flynn Dr to the right and the park to the left.
Main walkway towards the water. It extends back to the road. The event areas lead off this walkway.
