This is a relatively large nature reserve near Hawker in the Belconnen area.
The Pinnacle itself is a hill in the middle of the reserve that has a modest climb to the top. From here there are views to Lake Burley Griffin, Weston Creek, and Woden in the distance, and the new suburb of Whitlam in the foreground.
There are plenty of trails across and around the reserve. However, they can be wet and slippery after rain as they are mainly clay. Trekking of-trail is also pleasant and easy as there isn't much ground clutter.
There are no toilets available in this reserve.
The Reserve is best entered from Springvale Drive, Hawker. Here there are several free dirt carparks.
