Old Parliament House has been preserved as a museum and is superficially the same as it was when Parliament moved to the new building.
While the architecture and many of the rooms have been preserved, others have been turned into exhibits. There are no photography limitations.
Key areas of the building to visit and photograph are:
Prime Minister's office
Senate and House of Representative chambers
Entrance and foyer
toilets (if you want to see porcelain from the 1930's!)
The free tour of the building is worth doing as it is relaxed and photographer-friendly.
Old Parliament House is situated in the parliamentary triangle, between Lake Burley Griffin and New Parliament House.
There is paid parking available in front and up the sides of the building.
