This is a small park in the suburb of Evatt. It was originally the small village of Palmerville, but all that is left now are the trees and some grassy mounds that cover the remains of the buildings that once stood there. There are a few small bridges over a tributary of Ginninderra Creek.
Now, the park is popular with people walking dogs.
There is a major track that extends from one end to the other. It is gravel, and quite wide, and it is in good condition.
From a photography perspective, there are many European trees planted by the original inhabitants as well as a plantation of gum trees. There are opportunites for good pictures of trees, especially when illuminated by the sun.
There are no toilets here, but next to the car park there are tables and some BBQs.
There is a public car park off Owen Dixon Drive in Evatt.
