In the West Belconnen area, and about a 10-minute walk from the road, this lookout overlooks the Molonglo River and the Brindabella Mountains in the distance.

Overlooks the Royal Military College, Duntroon and views towards Civic in one direction and the airport in the other.
In the West Belconnen area. From the top here you can see across to Black Mountain and the Brindabellas. Naturally, there is a bit of a climb to get here, but the trail is good.
In central Canberra. This is the original lookout overlooking central Canberra and its leafy suburbs. Definitely worth going to see the Autumn colours.
This is a 3-hour round-trip from the carpark in Hall. A good trail winds you up to the top, from where you overlook Gungahlin and its newer suburbs of Taylor and Moncrieff.
A popular exercising spot in South Canberra. A progressive climb to the top which has views of the Tuggeranong valley and the Brindabellas.
An astronomy site that was badly damaged by bushfires and now by encroaching urban development. There are views of Canberra and some historical astronomy domes damaged by the fires.
The best all-around view of Canberra.
A nice climb to the top gives you great panoramic views of Belconnen, the Brindabellas, and down to South Canberra.
This is a vigorous climb to a peak that overlooks North Canberra.
