Little Mulligans is next door to Mulligans Flat Reserve. It seems to be a pretty untouched area of grassland and gum trees, with a lot of kangaroos around. Unlike other reserves, this one has a trail around the outside and none in the middle, so it is a great place if you want to explore off the beaten path.
There are many photographic opportunities here, and because there are no marked trails you never know what you will discover. I found it useful to follow kangaroo trails through the woods. I'll certainly be coming back here to expore.
Once entering, you just head in the direction you want to go. Initially the land is flat, but once you reach the treeline the land slopes upwards.
At the top of the hill is the NSW border with a barbed wire fence to stop you leaving.
There are no toilets here.
On the left of Mulligans Flat drive once you leave civilisation.
There is a dirt carpark on the left just off the road.
Once you enter you just head in a direction that interests you. Initially the land is very flat.
Plenty of they guys around.
It's very easy to move around as there is little to no scrub.
Tree sap catching the sun
Plenty of afternoon shade
You have to watch out for these guys.
